About Our Presenter:

Dr Angela Kwong is a GP with a special interest in obesity and metabolic health, and the founder of Enlighten Me – an award-winning, medically supervised program delivering stigma-free, evidence-based, multidisciplinary weight management care to patients across Australia. As NSW State Lead for Obesity Management with the RACGP, she champions compassionate, collaborative approaches to health.

 

Angela is passionate about translating complex medical concepts into clear, relatable messages that resonate with both patients and peers. She has built a trusted voice in medical media through national conference presentations, virtual events, and educational campaigns, often addressing stigmatised health topics that patients may hesitate to discuss in person.

 

Her work bridges the gap between clinical expertise and public engagement, empowering the profession and the community with accurate, actionable health information.
